Shivani Patel

Law Student Intern

My name is Shivani Patel and I am a rising 3L. I received a B.A. in Philosophy from Pennsylvania State University and from there went straight to law school. I always wanted to go to law school, however, it was not until college that I decided to pursue a career in environmental law, specifically natural resource and water laws. I developed an interest in energy law when I came to Pace after taking multiple environmental classes that put an emphasis on ways to mitigate climate change. When I continue my career after law school, I am hoping to use my experience here at PECC as a tool to aid in reforming energy and other environmental laws.

Kylie Ayal

Law Student Intern

My name is Kylie Ayal and I am a rising 2L. Before coming to Pace for law school, I received my B.S. in Journalism and International Relations from Boston University. I am currently working towards the environmental certificate and I have an interest in pursuing a legal career in international environmental policy, with a focus on energy law. This summer, I am excited to learn more about renewable energy sources and necessary policies for a more sustainable environment.

Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, running, and reading.
