Renée Lani
Student Researcher
Renée Lani is a graduating 3L, studying at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University as an exchange student through the Maryland-Pace Environmental Law Alliance.  She is excited to spend her last semester with the Pace Energy & Climate Center, gaining pertinent experience in the legal field in which she hopes to practice after graduation.
While at Maryland, Renée successfully completed all requirements for both the Environmental Law Certificate and the Business Law Track.   She has gained valuable experience through legal internships at the the Maryland Public Service Commission, the Environmental Integrity Project, and the American Chemistry Council.  Renée even had the honor to argue a Clean Water Act permit case before Maryland's appellate court as a student attorney through Maryland's distinguished Environmental Law Clinic.
In her spare time, Renée is a Notes and Comments Editor for Maryland's Journal of Business and Technology Law and a second year member of the school's Transactional Lawyering Competition Team.  If she isn't too bogged down by school work, she also enjoys exploring NYC, trying new restaurants, and reading for pleasure.
Renée is originally from the South Hills of Pittsburgh.  She graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a B.S. in Energy, Business, and Finance.
