Magnus Nwagu Amudi

Magnus Nwagu Amudi is a Nigerian legal practitioner who is currently enrolled at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law, Pace University for a postgraduate degree in Environmental Law, with particular interest in energy law and policy, and climate change. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Enugu State University of Science and Technology in 2011. He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2012 and completed his National Youth Service Corps programme in October, 2013. He had a brief stint with one of the fastest growing law firms in Nigeria, Sefton Fross, before joining a major law firm, ǼLEX, in January 2014.

His experience in ǼLEX cuts across many areas of law, including Corporate/Commercial Law Practice, Energy Law, Construction Law, Labour and Employment, Banking and E-Payments Regulations, Company Secretarial, and Dispute Resolution.

He currently interns at the Pace Energy and Climate Centre, where he assists in researching renewable energy policy issues.  Magnus enjoys watching football (soccer), writing and meeting new people.
