David King is an LLM in Environmental Law student at Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. He graduated from the University of South Africa with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
Prior to joining Pace, Mr. King worked as Senior Legislative Assistant in the Senate at the National Assembly in Abuja, Nigeria and as a Legal Consultant at Ogboro Attorneys in Pretoria, South Africa. He also worked as Candidate Attorney at different times with Kirpal Attorneys and the school for Legal Education and Development under the Law Society of South Africa in Pretoria, South Africa where he had the opportunity to expand his commitment to the public and the rule of law developing his advocacy skills.
The rise in environmental concerns globally and the laid-back approach by policymakers in Africa ignited his interest in Environmental Law with concentration in Energy Law and Climate Change. Mr. King is currently a Student Intern at the Pace Energy and Climate Center, PECC.
In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and as a result he has been on several trips including a visit to Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of this world, in the Indian city of Agra and Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. He is happily married with children.
